The Retreat offers a sober living programme for guests who have been through our primary care programme and want to stay longer in a sober living house. We have two facilities – one on-site and one off-site. The facilities provide safe housing and supportive, structured living conditions and provide a transitional environment or a stepping stone from leaving our primary care programme.
Our sober living houses and programme are interim steps on the path to sobriety where people recovering from addiction can live in a supervised and sober environment with structure and rules, i.e. curfews, chores, service and fellowship meetings.
We require the following”
- No drugs or alcohol
- Active participation in recovery meetings
- Active work with a sponsor in a 12 step recovery programme
- Random drug and alcohol tests returning a negative result
- On-time rent payments
- Involvement in either work, education, or in service
Please note: The sober living programme is only available to those who have been through our 30-day primary care programme.
